Job Ang is the worship coordinator and pastoral assistant at Vineyard of Harvest. Growing up in a music-loving home, Job was always surrounded by cassette tape players blasting James Brown, Michael Jackson, the Beatles, and Disney soundtracks, all artists that informed his early love of music. When some friends invited his family to their church, he encountered early worship songs from Hillsong, the Vineyard, and Maranatha, discovering a deep passion for worship. In high school, he found his musical heroes in the band Switchfoot, deriving a lot of songwriting influence from Jon Foreman. It was in the youth ministry at City Blessing Church that he cut his teeth in worship music, initially playing drums, but eventually transitioning to leading worship.
Job could never fully shake a call to worship and ministry as his vocation, a calling he felt since middle school. He finally answered that call, coming on staff at Vineyard of Harvest in 2016. As the worship coordinator, Job oversees the worship ministry, working to cultivate community, growing excellent worship leaders and musicians, and leading worship on Sunday mornings.
